What we Do
Smart Sensors For Boats
Oceanic Sensors Sweden AB specializes in developing camera systems for maritime applications. These cameras normally come with a 360 degree coverage and can use both daylight and IR sensors depending on customer requirements. The hardware is based on the latest mini supercomputers from NVIDIA. The cameras can be used to detect other boats or obstacles and make smart decisions based on a combination of artificial intelligence, computer vision and sensor fusion. Typical sensors are GPS, Inertial Measurement Unit, pressure sensors, weather sensors etc. We mainly focus on helping our customers building camera systems and control systems that are tailored for their applications.

We use OpenCV, TensorFlow and CUDA for our Computer Vision solutions running on Linux OS. Our main focus is object detection, tracking and classification.

We use NVIDIA’s mini supercomputers in the Jetson series to implement Artificial Intelligence algorithms, perform real-time computer vision, sensor fusion and autonomous surface vehicle control.
Machine Learning
Our solutions require training of the models i.e. our camera sensors must be trained on different objects and circumstances. The more training the better model/solution you get.

Research & Development
We do research and development in the field of sensor fusion, artificial intelligence and computer vision. Main focus on the R&D is to combine these fields into smart camera solutions for maritime systems and/or autonomous surface vehicle control systems.
